I'm Mariana, artist and illustrator with over ten years of experience. I'm living between Brazil and Sweden, mixing the tropical summers with the snowy winters across the world!
My experience is a unusual combination of Editorial Illustration and art for Video Games. I have worked with clients such as Air France, Editora Globo, Stockholm Stad, Mojang Studios (Minecraft) and Toca Boca.
This mix of experiences gave me a unique perspective when it comes to Art and how people engage with it in different media - interactive or print - giving me the knowledge of how to best connect with audiences through visuals.
My artwork is a mix of digital and traditional, I have a special love for reduced color palettes and harmonies, a strong eye for shape and an overall balance of delicate and bold shapes that carry the signature vibe of my Art. The themes that most attract me are best described as a combination of daily life with a hint of the weird, subconscious and the occult. I also have a passion for drawing food!
